We are a local advice charity serving your community
Citizens Advice Services in Cheshire East is the delivery partnership of Citizens Advice Cheshire East and Citizens Advice Cheshire North delivering the Universal Information and Advice Service.
We are your local Citizens Advice service for people living and working in Cheshire East.
Our volunteers, provide free, impartial, independent and confidential advice on most issues from employment, benefits, housing and debt.
We deliver the aims and principles of Citizens Advice nationally by offering a comprehensive service of information and advice. We actively work for change on the policies and practices that impact on the lives of our clients.
Research & Campaigns
Many clients come to Citizens Advice to seek advice in dealing with a problem and often the cause of their problem is an unfair policy, practice or piece of legislation. Statistics from client problems are used by Citizens Advice to campaign for changes in policies and services where improvements are needed – solving problems for people who may never even use our services. We talk to Government, local councils and other policy makers to help them improve the laws and services that affect ordinary people.
